Millkeepers Lodge
Northumberland
Millkeepers Lodge began life as part of the grain stores at Spindlestone Mill. The conversion has kept the character of the original building while creating a spacious family base. Five bedrooms across three floors can be arranged with flexible bed configurations—zip-and-link beds throughout mean groups travelling together can adjust sleeping patterns to suit. There are three bathrooms with shower cubicles and one with a bath and over-shower. Downstairs holds a living room with a wood-burning stove and sound system, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for full self-catering, including a range, dishwasher and washer-dryer. A second living room on the top floor provides extra space.
The property sits a mile from Budle Bay and within 3 miles of Bamburgh. An enclosed garden with decked terrace and seating works well for children and dogs; a BBQ is available for outdoor cooking. There is ample private parking on site. Underfloor oil heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in the rental, and initial logs for the wood-burner are provided. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. No smoking indoors.
