Newton Cottage

This stone cottage commands the edge of Budle Bay, its rooms arranged to take in the water beyond. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodate eight guests comfortably. The main living space is open-plan—kitchen, dining, and sitting area flowing together around a wood-burning stove—and a conservatory attached to it extends the view across the bay. Downstairs also holds a double bedroom with its own shower room and a twin, plus a separate shower room; upstairs are two more twins and a family bathroom with both bath and shower.

The kitchen is set up for proper cooking: AGA, electric hob, two fridges, freezer, dishwasher and microwave are all here. A games room with pool table and wall-mounted TV offers rainy-day occupation. Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio with barbecue and seating, and a private hot tub for evening soaking. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome. The cottage sits within a mile of both coast and pub, making it suited to families or groups wanting a self-contained base near the Northumberland shoreline.
