Night Sky Cottage

Night Sky Cottage works well for couples wanting a quiet rural retreat, or families of up to four seeking a base for countryside exploration. Everything is on the ground floor—living and dining space with a wood burner and Smart TV, a kitchen equipped for self-catering, two double bedrooms and a shower room. The cottage is contemporary in style, built from stone, with underfloor heating throughout and wifi. Bed linen and towels come with your stay, as does the initial fuel for the wood burner.

The hamlet of Yarrow sits within Northumberland National Park, close to Kielder Water and Forest Park. The area has been designated for its exceptionally dark skies, which draws astronomers and stargazers. Cyclists and walkers use it as a base for exploring the surrounding landscape. Behind the cottage, a patio garden with seating faces the rolling countryside; there's also a bike store and parking for one car on site. No smoking is permitted indoors.
