Wooler is a working market town on the edge of Northumberland National Park, surrounded by the Cheviot Hills and within reach of castles, beaches and historic sites across the county. Riverside Cottage is a stone-built barn conversion here, set up for four people to have the whole place to themselves. The ground floor is open-plan living and dining with an electric fire, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a shower room. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one super-king, one twin. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included.
The property has off-road parking for two cars and a shared gravelled garden outside. A pub serving food is within easy walking distance, and local shops are about half a mile away. One dog can stay free. The layout and location make it practical for families, couples or friends planning to spend time walking in the hills, visiting nearby heritage attractions, or heading to the coast. No smoking indoors.
