Rose Cottage is a detached lodge where you arrive into a bright, open-plan ground floor: a living room with woodburner and TV flows through to a kitchen-dining space with everything needed to cook properly, including a dishwasher and air fryer. Patio doors lead straight out to the garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, the other with a kingsize and single—and a wet room with bath and shower, plus a separate toilet.
The real draw is outside: a lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue, plus a hot tub. You have your own parking for two cars on site. The cottage sits in its own grounds within open countryside, and the essentials—Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels—are all covered. Slaley village, about a mile away, has a pub and shop. Hexham and Corbridge are three miles off, both with independent shops, restaurants and historic sites including Hadrian's Wall remains. The Northumberland coastline, Kielder Observatory and Northumberland National Park are all within a reasonable drive, and Newcastle is under 30 minutes away. No smoking inside the property.
