The Old Chapel

Slaley is a working Northumberland village where walking routes lead straight into the countryside, making it a natural base for exploring on foot or by bike. The Old Chapel sits here as a substantial conversion with space for eight guests across four bedrooms and four bathrooms, each with its own ensuite or access to dedicated facilities. It's the kind of property where families or groups of friends can spread out without tripping over one another—there's a sitting room on the ground floor and another upstairs, both with Smart TVs and access to wi-fi.

The ground floor is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and living areas flowing together around a working woodburner; initial fuel is supplied. Bedrooms vary between zip-and-link singles that can be configured as doubles and proper super-kingsize beds. One ensuite has a roll-top bath; others offer walk-in or cubicle showers. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—two electric ovens, a hob, dishwasher and American fridge freezer mean you're not limited to basics. Bed linen, towels and heating are included, along with wi-fi. An enclosed courtyard has garden furniture, and the property can accommodate one pet at no extra cost; there's a welcome pack and dog extras provided. Parking for four cars is on site. The Chapel doesn't take hen or stag parties, and smoking is not permitted.
