You step straight into an open-plan living space where the kitchen, dining area and lounge flow together under high ceilings. Bi-fold doors open onto a courtyard and sitting area. The kingsize bedroom sits on the lower ground floor with an ensuite shower; a woodburner warms the main space on cooler evenings. One dog can stay free, though they must be kept on a lead. Parking for two cars is on site, and there's a bike store if you want to explore further afield.

Quarry Barn is a detached 1700s conversion in secluded Northumberland countryside, privately yours for the duration of your stay. The kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. The grounds give you direct access to riverside and woodland walks. The property is not suitable for babies or children, and no smoking is permitted.
