Rothbury sits in the heart of Northumberland's countryside, and The Croft occupies a hillside position overlooking the valley and the Simonside hills beyond. This stone-built cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with zip-and-link singles—and has two bathrooms plus a separate shower room, making it practical for families or friends visiting together.
Downstairs, the living room centres on a multi-fuel burner with a Smart TV and DVD player, while the dining room opens to a spacious layout suited to gathering people around a table. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. An enclosed garden with terrace wraps around the front of the house, furnished with seating to take in the views. Parking for two cars is on site. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; the initial fuel for the burner is provided too.
The cottage is non-smoking. One well-behaved dog stays free. A highchair and stairgate are available on request. Rothbury itself offers pubs, shops and access to walks across the surrounding hills and moorland.
