The Hayloft

The Hayloft stands on a working farm in rural Northumberland, surrounded by fields where horses and sheep graze. Hexham is 11 miles away, Corbridge 7 miles, and the Northumberland coast is accessible for a day out. Newcastle city centre lies 40 minutes' drive south.

The property sleeps 4 across two bedrooms—a king on the first floor and two singles upstairs—with one bathroom. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining area and lounge; the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and there are two sofas for relaxing. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, along with heating throughout. One dog stays free and has access to an enclosed garden and patio; pets must be kept on a lead as the property is on a working farm. Parking for two cars is on site. No smoking inside.

The barn suits couples, small families or friends wanting a country base. Walking and cycling are popular locally, and the Tyne Valley around Hexham offers riverside paths, historic abbeys and market towns. The nearby coast has golden beaches, while castles, forts and golf courses dot the region within short drives.
