The Stable Loft
Northumberland
The Stable Loft opens into a living room with a Smart TV on the ground floor, where you'll also find a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer all there. Upstairs is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there's parking for one car on site. A flight of steps leads up to the entrance, and there are steps in the grounds too. No smoking indoors.
This converted stable sits in rural Northumberland within walking distance of Beadnell Bay's sandy beach. For something more active, Seahouses harbour a mile up the coast runs boat trips out to the Farne Islands, known for seals and seabirds; the village also has tea rooms and pubs. Bamburgh, two miles further on, is built around a fortress and has the Grace Darling Museum. Inland, Alnwick Castle and its associated garden—famous for a vast tree-house structure and a Grand Cascade waterfall—are a short drive away. The area supports horse riding, fishing, golf and water sports including kiting and kayaking. One dog is welcome to stay with you.
