Townhead Cottage

Townhead Cottage comes fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. The bathroom contains both a roll-top bath and a separate cubicle shower. There is private parking for one car on site.

The cottage is a one-bedroom property sleeping two, with a double bed and a living room where a wood burner provides warmth through cooler months. A patio with garden furniture opens onto countryside. One dog stays free, and there is a dog-friendly pub within a mile of the village. The property is not suitable for children under 3 years old, and smoking is not permitted inside.

Harbottle is a small village in Northumberland with walking routes starting from the door. Harbottle Castle is nearby, and the Upper Coquet Valley attracts walkers and cyclists. Rothbury, eight miles away, has tea rooms, pubs, shops and restaurants. The Heritage Coastline and market towns like Alnwick are within reach for day trips.
