Great campsite, Clive is great very welcoming and settled us in nicely, felt at home. The facilities are good, very clean, lots of space. Beautiful views and lots of nature. We had a camper van and hooked up. There is no shop close by so take everything you need, the drive off site in the van a bit challenging so you don’t want to be towing and throwing in a van! The Plough pub does a great Carvery on Sunday, worth a walk down to the village. We’ll definitely cone back with friends.

Oh wow! We booked buttercup meadow for a long weekend. Immediately we were met by the owner Clive who is the most welcoming, genuine, funny and informative guy you will ever meet! ❤️ Had the pleasure of meeting his daughter in law and wife too. After just one night experience at Buttercup Meadow.. we would love to live there permanently! We are experienced campers who have camped in England, Wales & Scotland but this is far best the best campsite we have ever been to. I can’t rate this campsite highly enough. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife. Amenities were top notch. I would advise no one to book it as we want it all ourselves 🥰🥰 this site will not disappoint and a personal thank you to Clive and his wife for supporting me through a personal time. Love, love, love this site xxxxx

Loved it! Clive, the owner, was wonderful - really helpful and accommodating. Literally had a field to ourselves. Great location, about a mile walk through the fields to the pub. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here just last night requested a private area and they well and truly delivered absolutely can not fault anything at this campsite soo lovely and peaceful the facilities was in good condition well maintained and Clive was a very helpful and friendly fella ! Would 100% book here again
