If I could give ten stars I would! My friends and I hired all three pods with our 11 dogs between us last weekend and had the most wonderful, relaxing break! From when I first booked, to the departure day, communication from Clare was warm, friendly, helpful and prompt! The actual pods exceeded expectations! The accommodation and surrounding areas had been so thoughtfully planned and it was obvious that a lot of hard work and love has gone into creating such a super dog friendly space! There were so many little extra touches to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! The accommodation was akin to a four star hotel and furnished beautifully. The gardens had been designed for as much canine enrichment as possible too! I really enjoyed meeting the Swiss valais black nosed sheep! I can’t think of anything that could possibly be improved & I’ve been recommending RRR to all my friends! Thank you very much Clare and Kirsty for creating such a lovely little dog and human friendly get away! I will definitely be back! 🐾

We had a perfect weekend with our dog and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The accommodation was extremely dog friendly which made the weekend so relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean, peaceful and equipped everything we needed for a comfortable break. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful providing a tranquil setting to unwind and enjoy nature. It was the ideal escape from everyday life, and we appreciated how well thought out all the facilities were. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with their dogs. I am definitely returning ☺️

Rutland rural retreats is the perfect place for those anxious/reactive fur babies. With only 3 cabins and plenty of room between you can enjoy your own space worry free!! The facilities where exactly what you need (if you prefer a bit more room book shepherds hut) otherwise it’s the perfect little get away. There’s plenty of routes to walk around. We didn’t venture to any pubs due to our reactive dog but there seemed to be plenty around. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary so it was lovely to see these buntings up and showed the owners really went above and beyond for guests:)

We had the most wonderful break in early June, hiring all three properties and bringing our various dogs (plus a very enthusiastic puppy!). Absolutely everything had been thought of for the comfort of both doggies and humans. There was a very thoughtful and generous welcome pack waiting for us on arrival and the pods were well appointed and immaculate. We will be back!
