Tucked into the hills above Appin, Lagnaha Farm is a peaceful farmland site that punches well above its weight. Campers consistently praise the warm welcome, spotless facilities and stunning views across Loch Linnhe to the mountains beyond – many reckon it's one of the best-kept spots in the area. The pitches are spacious and level, and the farm's hillside position means you're treated to proper Highland scenery without the crowds.

It's perfectly placed for exploring Argyll's attractions, from castle hopping to coastal walks, and there's decent public transport nearby if you fancy leaving the car behind. Note that dogs aren't permitted, so it's one to bear in mind if you're travelling with a four-legged friend.

A great campsite Ideally located directly beside the cycle path between Oban and Fort William (part of National Cycle route 78 the Caledonia Way). We came across the site late in the day and the owner was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Ideal facilities and would highly recommend for campers.

We stayed with the previous owners. The cottage is simply unique, a real feel-good place... simply Scottish. Unfortunately it doesn't work out with a stay this year. But the contact with Karen and Clive was so positive and uncomplicated. Everyone is welcome with these hosts. We can only recommend the cottage, as well as the area and especially the two! Fabian

We stayed in one of the cottages and had a wonderful time. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The cottage was very clean and well-appointed. The location is perfect. There's a bike path behind the farm, and a nice little hike on the other side of the street (second picture).

Love Outdoors

Beautiful campsite in Scotland highlands. We stayed 3 nights with our tent during Sep 2023. It’s nice and quiet campsite for Glen COE or Ben Nevis hiking. Friendly owners. Camp fires allowed.
