Harbour Hotel Padstow occupies a substantial Victorian building on Station Road, perched above the working harbour with views across the Camel Estuary towards Rock. Formerly known as the Metropole, the hotel has been thoroughly refurbished under the Harbour Hotels group and now offers 58 individually styled rooms with a marine-inspired feel, from cosy doubles to suites with private balconies.
The Jetty restaurant serves relaxed, all-day dining built around seasonal Cornish produce and seafood, and the hotel's bar and terrace make the most of its elevated position over the town. Event spaces cater for functions and weddings for up to eighty guests, and the hotel provides Hunter wellies for guests keen to explore the coast path in wetter weather.
Its position on the hill means a short but occasionally steep walk down into the old town, offset by easier parking than most of Padstow's harbourside properties, making it a practical choice for visitors travelling by car who still want to be within walking distance of the centre.

Wow, what can I say. The room was so bright and clean. Charlotte and Heather made our stay perfect! They are some of the kindest most genuine people we have met. I booked the "Boat Room" for a small family gathering. Staff were very helpful and thoughtful, good was excellent, location, privacy and views were wonderful. Couple of constructive thoughts though: It was almost impossible to get through on the phone in late March early April. Maybe just a bit early in the season, but phone tree needs a re-think. Also a private room is better with no piped music, and whilst it was turned off it might be better if the default was "no music unless requested". However I loved the interior decor, and I give my grateful thanks to Hebe Monks for her terrific help, and all other staff.

Hebe was fab as she took over from our original coordinator and the transition was seamless. She was professional and knows her stuff. No ask was too small and Hebe accommodated all our little asks to make the day more us. The whole package is ideal for a smaller wedding like ours - 33 in total. The rooms didn’t feel too small or big, just right. All our decorations were put out by Hebe and her team just as we asked. Food and drink are 10/10 and they even got our favourite cocktails for the end of the aisle for us both. Would highly recommend using Padstow harbour hotel as your wedding venue if undecided. The views speak for themselves and the team are superb.

Hebe organised and hosted our intimate wedding on Wednesday the 10th June. From the moment we spoke to her to the day of the actual wedding, the service we received was excellent. She came up with suggestions, food options for canapés, got in our favourite champagne and organised the room - making our intimate wedding of just nine people (our grown up kids and partners) so special. A truly lovely lady, and professional wedding planner. Thank you Hebe!
