Excellent golf course and facilities, some greens a little slow but all round a great course and some fantastic holes where you really have to think about where you place your shots, great food as well

Cathedral course was well presented and in excellent condition, its a challenging course that grows more difficult hole by hole. Very satisfying breakfast baguette and bacon roll in the clubhouse, post round roast chicken dinner was very welcome, we all had a great society day out, as always at this venue, but the first time we have played the Cathedral course, many thanks to the club, we will see you again, DM GOSPORT GOLF SOCIETY.

First time back here on Wednesday 20th May since playing the Tower course about four years ago. Me and a friend played the Cathedral course this time. It was in a superb condition, and mostly enjoyable. Tee boxes and fairways were great, and the greens provided a decent test as they were quick. Just not really a fan of ‘the mother’ hole, and disappointed we couldn’t have a drink after golf as everything was already locked up around 6:30pm which is surprising considering the excellent weather. Thank you for a good experience though

So it turns out Chichester Golf Club is a Left hand golfer discriminatory! So I tried to book the one only left handed driving range bay on Sunday afternoon, it was booked so couldn't use it, (the outside bays were booked too! So I booked a right handed bay, I'm a fairly decent player so know where my club is at all times during a swing! I was just about 5 minutes into my session when (I think he was either the pro from the range or the shop worker) came out and said in not such a polite way "you can't play in the right handed bay.! I said but you only have one Lefthanded bay to which her replied that's because there isn't many left handed players! Now forgive me for this but I said there are more of us than you think its just we can't book the left bay as it's normally fully booked! The funny thing was he had to tell another Lefthanded player not to use the right handed bay who was a couple of bays down from me... Now I got moved to the outside bay where you do not get trackman computer to monitor your shots etc but I had to pay the same price!!! Why can't you make at least a couple of bays lefthanded to give us left handed players a chance to practice on the range. I will be avoiding using this range from now on due to their prejudice against lefty's. Portsmouth driving range is much better.
