What visitors say
A great day out. A wonderful, calm place that allows you to get up close to many species of birds. The dalmation pelicans are incredible prehistoric looking things that are worth the price alone! The cost of entry is very reasonable and so is the cafe. I had a lovely cheese and onion pastry and a slice of carrot cake. Will definitely go back in the winter

Nice place to experience wildlife. Information booklet and boat trip cost extra. We had reduced entry with Boundless membership and had to take photo ID. No Kingfishers there this year. Cafe offerings looked limited for gluten free pescatarians so we went to the Black Rabbit pub instead, just a couple of minutes drives down rhe road

Fabulous for our family and full of all sorts of birds. We booked the boat ride and pond dipping finding a great crested newt for the first time in the 5 years they've had the pond in! The boat ride was so peaceful with our incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide.

Such a lovely day out. I took my elderly mother who uses a walker. The centre has lovely level paths which Mum could negotiate. We stopped and enjoyed an ice cream in the cafe, which has wonderful large windows giving a perfect view of the lake. The Pelicans were a favorite of ours.
