About Rosetta Holiday Park
Rosetta Holiday Park sits just north of Peebles town centre, close enough that most visitors leave the car behind and walk straight into the High Street for dinner. With over a hundred hardstanding and grass pitches beneath the wooded slopes of the Venlaw Hills—all with sixteen-amp electric hook-up—it's one of the larger touring parks in the Borders, accepting tents, caravans and motorhomes alongside dogs throughout. The scale means it absorbs busy weekends without feeling crammed, though some areas nearest the entrance can feel a little more exposed than the quieter, tree-lined pitches further back.
Facilities cover the essentials: warm toilet and shower blocks, washing-up areas and chemical disposal points, but there's no shop, pool or entertainment on site. What Rosetta does exceptionally well is location. The Tweed footpaths, cafes, independent shops and the John Buchan museum are all on your doorstep, while Glentress Forest and Neidpath Castle lie just beyond. It's a practical, well-run base for visitors who want a proper touring pitch without sacrificing walk-in access to everything Peebles has to offer.

The park is only 10 minute walk into Peebles and is set in beautiful grounds, I couldn't believe how few campers were staying the week we were there. Yes, the toilets are a bit dated but perfectly clean and usable. Yes, you don't get WiFi but our phones were fine. Yes, none of the pitches are flat and some are quite close together but it's a beautiful, quiet, very safe feeling campsite. I would come back.

We had a brilliant stay here. Warden was the best very friendly and great sense of humour and let us move to a flatter pitch. Toilet and shower some would say dated but very clean and lovely hot showers with constant running hot water. Park setting is beautiful and only a 10 minute flat walk into Peebles where you will find plenty shops cafes restaurants and pubs.... our favourite was the bridge bar. Gorgeous walks along the Tweed River. I think the site is getting upgraded at the minute but no disruption. Definitely recommend

Booked for 3 days but had to change as arrived early and had to leave early. Great location and run by a great guy called James. We had a motorhome breakdown and nothing was an issue for us. Great service and friendly manner by James. We will definitely be back as we didnt really get to explore much . Thanks James

We stayed here for one night, touring in our motorhome. We had a lovely peaceful night. We walked into the town which took us about 15 minutes- nice town with lots of lovely walks around it. Very friendly warden. Our only criticism was the toilet/shower facilities were very old, but saying that they were very clean. If in the area again we would return.
