Pembroke's historic market town sits within reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, with the castle a ten-minute walk away and restaurants, shops and cafés dotted through the streets. Stable Cottage occupies a quiet spot near the mill pond, a converted stone building that retains original features—exposed beams, vaulted ceilings in the bedroom—alongside modern comfort. The property is yours alone, sleeping two in a king bed with an en-suite shower.

Downstairs, a combined living and dining space opens to a fitted kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. A woodburner warms the room on cooler evenings (fuel included to start). Upstairs, the bedroom feels spacious under those vaulted ceilings. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all included. An enclosed back garden with patio and furniture offers a place to sit; there's a BBQ for outdoor meals.

One pet stays free. The cottage suits couples looking for a quiet base to explore coast and countryside without the drive. Parking is available nearby. No smoking inside. There is a step down to the rear courtyard.

Blacksmiths cottage has everything one could think of, truly home from home and more. Christina was lovely, and almost instantly getting back to me when I had a question, or problem. It has a large hot tub in the back garden, which we enjoyed one evening. A cinema room if you choose, and all king-size or queen size beds, which you can get lost in, all with en suite bathrooms too. Very well located with pubs restaurants and cafes nearby. Oh and a lovely riverside walk just 5 minutes behind the house, with Pembroke castle overlooking it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return one day soon.

We had a lovely stay at Stable Cottage. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and had really easy, convenient and free parking very near by. Perfect location for areas such as Tenby a 20min car journey away, Freshwater east beach, the AMAZING barfundle bay and broadhaven! Beaches that you cannot miss paying a visit to. The cottage had everything you needed and could think of and the tea, coffee, milk and prosecco were lovely added touches. Along with the dog bowls, treats and towels for our lovely lab! She thoroughly enjoyed our stay to. Our only thing we would suggest looking for before hand if you plan on eating out most evenings like we do, is to look before you come, as our first evening we hadn’t looked online and it was a bit of a mad rush, as we found there wasn’t loads within walking distance for a sit down meal, it wasn’t an issue as we had the car and headed to the Ferry Inn, a 10 minute drive away. We ate at Tap&Tan in Tenby on Saturday which is dog friendly and it was great food! Thankyou for having us, we loved our stay!

We had a wonderful time at Stable Cottage over the new year. The cottage itself is great, it has everything you need to make it your home for a short while. We were provided with a lovely hamper on arrival which was very kind and thoughtful. Everything super clean and tidy and extra pillows were provided too which was nice! The shower was excellent too! Our dog Margot especially enjoyed the wood burner after a long walk in the cold. Pembroke village is a lovely little village with lots of delightful pubs which were very friendly and welcoming. It also has great transport links to other towns in the area, we caught the train to Tenby on New Year’s Eve which was only a 22min train journey and only cost us £10 for 2 return, can’t go wrong! We went on many walks during our holiday, lots of places to visit including Barafundle Bay on our circular walking route from Stackpole Quay which I can recommend doing. Stunning views! I would highly recommend staying at Stable Cottage 10/10 from us! Great accommodation and amazing hosts. Thanks again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Blacksmith’s Cottage, a lovely, comfortable, unique property in the centre of Pembroke Town. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need, including a pleasant outside area, and the hot tub that the teens loved. The location is convenient for shops, pubs and restaurants, and an easy walk to Pembroke castle. Away from the town there are numerous activities on offer nearby, plus fantastic sandy beaches. Don’t miss Stackpole (NT), Tenby and Saundersfoot. The friendly, helpful owners provide a generous welcome pack (including dog treats) and loads of useful information. Highly recommended.
