Y Bwthyn is a detached cottage that has been converted to combine original character—exposed oak beams run through the open-plan ground floor—with the comfort of contemporary living. A woodburner sits at the heart of the kitchen and living area, which opens onto a garden with patio. Upstairs are two further bedrooms. The property sleeps seven across four rooms: a double with ensuite on the ground floor, a single bedroom with access to the family bathroom, and two doubles upstairs (one with two singles).
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. Bed linen, towels and initial fuel for the woodburner are provided, along with wi-fi and electricity. Outside, a hot tub overlooks the lawned garden, and there is garage parking for two cars and a bike store. The village of Tavernspite is quiet and rural; a pub and restaurant are within walking distance, and shops are two miles away. The Pembrokeshire National Park coast is nine miles south—Tenby and its Blue Flag beaches are the nearest point of access.
The cottage does not permit smoking. It has wheelchair access and can provide a cot and highchair for families with young children.
