About Hardrigg Hall Glamping
Tucked away near Penrith, Hardrigg Hall Glamping offers ensuite pods with the option of a private hot tub – perfect for those chilly Cumbrian evenings after a day exploring the fells. The site keeps things family-friendly and straightforward, with good shower facilities and drinking water on tap, though you'll need to leave pets at home and shouldn't expect WiFi.
It's a solid, no-frills base for touring the northern Lakes, where the focus is squarely on comfort rather than bells and whistles. The pods themselves earn consistent praise for cleanliness and thoughtful touches, making this a quietly reliable choice if you want a warm bed and a soak under the stars without unnecessary fuss.

What visitors say
Really nice glamping pod we had with the wood-fired hot tub. Very quiet and exclusive. There are only two glamping pods so it's a great place to stay if you want extra quiet time. You can only hear the faint lowing of cows in the farm which wasn't a disturbance at all! The pod has almost to complete facilities (don't expect full as it's still a 'camping' experience).

Genuinely the best glamping pod experience we've ever had. Lovely place to go and make memories. Very peaceful setting, stunning views with the pennines in the distance. The pod was perfect, very clean, everything you need with kitchen and bathroom, towels and bathrobes provided. There was even a perfect valentines day personal touch, as you can see in the photos below. Staying here, you feel like there is something special in every detail with all the extra touches that make this place as special as it is. Then, on top of it all, the wood fired hot tub was the cherry on top. Me and my Mrs are so grateful to Mary the host for our stay and we can't wait to come back!

Stayed in Primrose. Absolutely amazing, weather wasn’t on our side this time around. However, the farm and glamping pod made up for it. Comfortable and homely also watching out to the cows and fields was amazing. Definitely recommend.
