Wow!! That's basically the word I can only use for the quality of food, service and friendliness of this pub when we went for a meal. Our table was reserved we had two large dogs which wasn't an issue. We went on a Sunday and had the Sunday lunch, the amount of meat was incredible no skimping here, the presentation and veg which accompanied the meal was excellent. The service was excellent also, nothing to much trouble. I can honestly say it's the best Sunday lunch I've had. (Our fox reds also agreed)

We had a fantastic meal at The Globe Inn on a busy Sunday with friends, their baby and our dogs. The food was fabulous (best cauliflower cheese ever!!) The interior transformation inside the bar and restaurant is also great. Service was a bit slow due to the bank holiday, but we enjoyed drinks in the lovely garden while waiting. Highly, highly recommend and will be referring all our Air B&B guests from Low Hesket! Thank you very much, we are delighted to have a great new ‘local’!

We had the most amazing roast dinner for Father’s Day today. Nothing was too much trouble, service was incredible. The food was all locally sourced, freshly cooked - and you could tell! We will definitely be back!

We rang to book a table and although I only gave them an hours notice, they were able to accommodate us. On arrival we were greeted at the bar and shown to our table, where the food portions on menu was explained. Drinks were ordered which came quickly and we then ordered. The food was home cooked, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and cheerful and we would thoroughly recommend you to eat there.
