What a lovely and quiet location. I turned up by bicycle as I was riding the 'Lakes and Dales Loop', so it was very conveniently located as it was right in the route. The welcome was warm and my bike was safely tucked away for the night. My room was light, bright, airy and warm and really clean. The shower was great and the bed super comfy. The Sun Inn pub, a five minute walk away, serves fabulous food and that topped off a great stay. Thank you.

Yes, yes, yes! Such a beautiful house. Very clean and well maintained. We stayed there for a very short time & we had a very peaceful night. The window view in the morning is everything!! Would stay here again!

We stayed at Sunset House at the end of our first day on C2C. The amenities were fantastic and just what we needed at the end of the day. Secure bike storage, good pressure shower, immaculately clean room. Breakfast was served to room, which was delicious and piping hot. We had our evening meal at the village pub which was also very good. Very friendly hosts and excellent communication throughout, with a card machine for payment too. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely village with an excellent pub for an evening meal. Having an EV charger is also a great draw for us. Will be using them again on our future expeditions to the Highlands and islands.
