Set in the grounds of an 18th-century manor house, Tymparon Hall offers a peaceful base just four miles from Junction 40 of the M6 and a ten-minute drive from both Penrith and Ullswater. The site's electric hardstanding and grass touring pitches nestle beside a farmhouse garden overlooked by mature trees and summer flowers, with the old Penrith-to-Keswick railway embankment providing shelter to the east.
You're in prime Lake District exploring territory here. Aira Force waterfall lies fifteen minutes away by car, while the fells of Blencathra and Helvellyn are within twenty to twenty-five minutes. Facilities include showers, toilets, chemical disposal and free wifi, plus water and drainage hook-ups for tourers.
An old-school inn sits a ten-minute walk away (or two minutes by car), and the nearest supermarket is within four miles. It's a friendly, unpretentious spot that puts you right on the doorstep of the national park and the Eden Valley.

A lovely site with a very welcoming owner, large pitches more than adequate for large motorhomes beautiful country side with plenty of wildlife, birds, sheep and new born lambs in the adjoining fields were very entertaining, A Small site but has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. 👌

This is a small nice place, the grounds are well kept, flat. Amenities are good but small. It's mainly a touring caravan park, with a lot of vans semi long stay. Nice pub ten minutes work away with very good food recommended

Stayed in this place for 4 nights, and had a great time. Rooms are very nice, clean, with comfy beds (much nicer than some of the photos on Google). The lady who manages the B&B is one of the best hosts I've come across. Made us personalised breakfast every morning and was very helpful. Definitely recommend. :)
