Had a wonderful stay at Ullswater heights for 5 days and 4 nights! Our lodge was well kept and tidy and there was a very peaceful atmosphere around the site. The customer service was absolutely brilliant - special shoutout to Sarah, who was incredible when my daughter left her Chromebook behind after checking out. She took great care to make sure it was packaged securely and back to us safely and it arrived in perfect condition! Highly recommend staying here. Exceptional staff and amazing hospitality !

Here’s your updated review with that included: ⸻ We recently stayed at Ullswater Heights Leisure Resort and had a really enjoyable experience overall. We stayed in one of the Water Edge pods, which was clean, modern, and felt newly refurbished. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into maintaining the accommodation. One nice touch was that an ironing board and iron were available on request, which was very convenient. The highlight of the stay was definitely the stunning lake view from the pod — waking up to that scenery made the trip feel extra special. We also tried the on-site restaurant during our stay, which was a nice experience. The food was good and, again, the view of the lake really added to the atmosphere. There are just a couple of small points worth noting. The bathroom sink is quite small, which made it a bit tricky to avoid getting water on the floor when brushing teeth or washing hands. Also, there is only one mirror located in the bathroom, which meant getting ready took a bit longer than usual. Overall though, a lovely stay in a beautiful setting, and we would definitely consider returning.

Had booked one of the riverside pods. Lovely view from the pod and it was surprisingly spacious to accommodate 3 adults and a baby. Had a good time in the hot tub as well. However, cleanliness was a big 👎 for us. Attached pics would show that the pod was infested with spider webs, mold and tiny hair all over the places. It was a big concern for us as we had a toddler crawling and rolling on the floor. We phoned the customer service to notify this along with a couple of other concerns like hot tub temperature and room temperature. Those were promptly resolved, but nobody came to clean the place. Whilst it was solved, we didn't even know that it was solved because we were not notified or followed up about it. We assumed that it was solved by them. Its a shame that such a nice place is just not maintained properly.

We were unsure of what to expect when we arrived, however, all 5 of us were absolutely thrilled with our safari tent! The highlights for us included: •hot tub-ideal family size and placement in the decking at the front of the tent! We spent every opportunity in it and my 8 year old loved this! •tent-vast amount of space to comfortably fit 5 people, the living area was great with the log burner and radiators to keep us warm! The kitchen area was ideal for ensuring we had the right facilities to cook etc and the air fryer was a great addition! The bedrooms were great, mattresses really comfortable and the bedding was spotless! The cabin bed (like a den) was loved and claimed by my 8 year old which was amazing! The toilet and shower room were equally ideal and spacious! •extras-the additional extra touches including the bath robes and slippers, logs for the log burner and milk in the fridge were a great way to make us feel welcome! •staff-easily the best welcome we have experienced in arriving at a place…the staff member who welcomed us was smiley, friendly and instantly helped get us excited for our stay by stating that we are ‘going to love it!’…and she was 100% right! We couldn’t get the radiators to work (my error!) and when I rang reception they had someone come out ASAP! Amazing! •location-ideal location for a stop off at Penrith or venture further into the lakes such as Pooley Bridge! Overall, such a great experience and we are definitely going to be returning! To quote my 8 year old,’it was fab-taculous and I will definitely be staying there again!’
