Courtyard Cottage

Courtyard Cottage is a single-storey property built around a private courtyard garden, positioned within the grounds of Cluny House Gardens near Perth and Kinross. The whole place is yours alone: a bedroom with a super king-size bed, a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower, a living room with a wood burner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Everything sits on the ground floor. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial logs and kindling for the stove.

The real draw is outside. An enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and barbecue comes with the cottage, but you also have access to two acres of shared grounds laid out as a Japanese strolling garden, complete with a traditional summerhouse and seating areas. The setting is quiet enough that clear nights sometimes bring views of the Aurora Borealis. There is private parking for two cars and an electric charging point. A bike store is available if you want to explore further afield. No smoking is permitted inside.

The location sits between central Perthshire and the Highlands, accessible to walking country, market towns, and highland scenery. The enclosed courtyard and summerhouse mean you can step outside without leaving the gardens, or venture into the wider grounds for longer wandering.
