The grounds include a children's play area, putting green and fishing (by arrangement), with lawned gardens and a sitting area for outdoor meals. A river and lake occupy the grounds at a distance, worth noting if children will be playing outside.

The house itself holds ten bedrooms across three floors, with seven bathrooms split between shared facilities and ensuite shower rooms. Bedrooms vary—some have zip-and-link beds that can be configured as singles or doubles, others come as fixed doubles or bunks, allowing flexibility for different group compositions. The ground floor contains two living areas (one with a woodburner and no television, one with Sky), a dining room, kitchen with an Aga, separate playroom with television, and utility room with coin-operated laundry. A second sitting room upstairs has another open fire. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; initial fuel for the fires is also provided.
