Fishponds Cottage

Fishponds Cottage is a single-storey property beside the River Tay, a few miles south of Perth. The layout keeps everything on one level: three bedrooms (a kingsize, a double, and two singles), a bathroom with bath and shower, a kitchen with breakfast area, and a living room with an open fire and smart TV. French doors from the bedrooms and kitchen lead directly into the garden. One dog stays free. Parking for two cars is on site.

The kitchen is fitted for cooking proper meals, with an electric range, microwave and fridge-freezer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and the initial fuel for the fire are all included. In the rear garden you'll find a summerhouse, seating area, barbecue and bike store. The grounds slope down to the riverbank, where tracks lead along the Tay towards Stanley Mills and an isolated beach known as Horsey Pool. The walk takes in a lade trail through countryside where otters, beavers, ospreys and herons are regularly spotted. Perth's shops and restaurants are a ten-minute drive away. No smoking inside; the cottage is available to holidaymakers only.
