Couples and small families will find The Cottage a self-contained base in rural Perthshire, a short drive from Perth town centre yet surrounded by farmland and woodland. Built three centuries ago and renovated throughout, it sits in its own grounds with parking for two cars and a lawned garden. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost.
Two bedrooms accommodate four guests: the first has a super king bed with its own television, the second two single beds. The bathroom includes both bath and shower. Downstairs is open plan, with a living area around a woodburner, a dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized freezer. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all provided, with fuel included to get you started.
This location suits walkers and cyclists; quiet country lanes branch in all directions, and dedicated cycle paths cover much of the region. The River Tay and its tributaries lie close by, known for salmon fishing. Perth itself—10 miles south with its museums, galleries and theatre—is easily reached for a day out, while Gleneagles, St Andrews, Glasgow and Edinburgh are all within an hour's drive. A shop, pub and restaurant are roughly a mile and a half away. No smoking inside the property.
