Waterloo Farm House

Waterloo Farm House works well for families travelling together or groups of friends seeking space to spread out. Each of the three bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom, which means less negotiation over shower times. The main bedroom holds a double bed, while the second also offers a double; the third has two single beds that zip together. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Downstairs, the living and dining areas centre on a wood burner, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and everything else required for self-catering. A separate toilet on the ground floor proves useful when the house is full.

Outside, an enclosed lawn wraps around the front with patio seating and a barbecue. A bike store sits on the property, and there is parking for three cars. The cottage sits in a quiet hamlet near Perth, in the heart of Highland Perthshire, making it a base for exploring the region. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; one dog stays free. Note that there are two steps between the garden and the house, and the kitchen doorway is 5 feet 9 inches high. No smoking throughout the property.
