Toad Hall is a stone-built cottage dating from 1890, standing in Aberfeldy's conservation area. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a super king, a zip-and-link double that converts to two singles, and a third bedroom with two further single beds. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site and a private garden with seating.
Downstairs holds a living room with woodburner, dining room with open fire, and a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included, along with initial logs for both fires. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage suits families, particularly those with younger children, for whom a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.
The location is the real draw. Aberfeldy itself has restaurants, cafes, galleries, shops and a cinema within walking distance, while public footpaths lead directly from the cottage into rural Perthshire. The River Tay runs through the town; the Birks of Aberfeldy—a gorge with a designated walking route—lies nearby. For anyone serious about the Scottish hills, seven Munros sit within twenty miles, among them Ben Lawers and Schiehallion. There is a pub within a mile. No smoking inside.
