About Mercure Perth Hotel
Step into a room at Mercure Perth Hotel and you'll find en-suite comfort with a traditional, homely feel rather than sleek modernity - some rooms show their age, but they're comfortable and well-kept, with family and accessible options available across the hotel's three floors. It's the kind of place where the welcome matters more than the decor, and staff are consistently helpful and professional, making check-in and any requests during your stay easy.
Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are where Mercure Perth Hotel really earns its keep, with a buffet breakfast that sets guests up well for the day and a menu that includes popular burgers alongside other pub-style favourites. The bar itself has a relaxed, cosy atmosphere and a solid range of drinks, while room service and a snack bar cover those in-between moments. There's also outdoor seating, a picnic area, and facilities for meetings or weddings, plus kids' meals for family stays.
The West Mill Street address puts guests within easy reach of central Perth, with restaurants and eateries nearby and a golf course close by for those wanting to fit in a round. Rail links make it a sensible base for exploring further afield, and pets are welcome too, though on-site parking comes at an extra charge.
What guests say
This has to have been the dirtiest and most dated hotel we have ever stayed in. Also not cheap. Carpets were filthy walls were filthy. Stairs up to our room. As for the bathroom the smell was unbearable. And filthy also. The tiny tv in our room didn't even work properly one of the managers came and got some channels working but it hadn't been set up right. Twice we complained and I’m still waiting on a manager to contact us. No soundproofing so we heard the man upstairs every time he did the toilet. Every foot step as floor boards upstairs were all loose and creaked. The room for breakfast was dark and dingy. You stuck to the tables as they were that dirty. The seats were filthy and covered in goodness knows what. I asked for a fried egg at breakfast before I selected my food only to be told after I'd almost finished eating it that the chef had said he can't do me a fried egg as he was too busy cooking. Even though there was a sign to say if you want other eggs just ask. Please AVOID this hotel. There are so many other beautiful hotels in Perth to stay at not any dearer prices.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure Hotel in Perth, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional service I received during my visit. What truly made my experience stand out was the impeccable hospitality provided by Chloe and Megan. From the moment I arrived, both Chloe and Megan went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, assisting promptly with requests, or simply greeting guests with genuine kindness, they consistently delivered service of the highest standard. It’s rare to encounter such a perfect balance of efficiency and friendliness, and Chloe and Megan made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Their dedication reflects incredibly well on the hotel and turned what could have been a standard stay into a truly memorable experience. I would not hesitate to return to the Mercure Hotel in Paris and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding service. Thank you again to Chloe and Megan for making my stay so special.I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure Hotel in Perth, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional service I received during my visit. Swift check in, bar dinner was tasty, room was comfy with a more old fashioned ambience but with everything we needed. Some reviews mention the bed being hard, and yes, I also prefer a softer bed personally but everyone is different. Don't stay in a hotel if you have very specific desires. We had a great time and the staff were all very friendly and cheerful. Parking being included if you are an Accor loyalty member is fab and everything was straight forward. Looking forward to go back!
