Ten nights at Carra Beag and it was faultless from start to finish. Mark and Helen are outstanding hosts — warm, genuinely welcoming and endlessly helpful with tips on where to eat, walk and visit. The Victorian villa is spotless and full of character, the guest lounge is a lovely spot to unwind with complimentary cake and Port/Sherry, and the views over the Tummel Valley from the dining room are superb. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and was excellent every single morning. free parking and a five-minute walk into town and it's hard to fault. We'll definitely return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful stay at Carra Beag. The hosts, Helen and Mark were very helpful, friendly, welcoming and always making sure everything was fine with our stay. Breakfast was delicious, freshly made and well presented. A lovely added touch was help yourself to cake in the lounge. The guest house is in an ideal location. It is only a few minutes walk to the high street. Stay at Carra Beag and you have found a gem of a guest house.

Stayed last night as part of my mother’s 80th birthday tour of her homeland. That’s involved staying in a number of Guest Houses. All have been lovely but this one was the best by far. Lovely hosts. Room, communal areas and breakfast were all exceptional. The hosts have taken the time to get ‘all the little things’ absolutely right. Plus there’s free parking and a very central location. You will struggle to find a better stay anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Such a nice place! The best breakfast made with love and plenty to choose from. Very nice room with a beautiful view on Pitlochry. We were sorry we had to leave to continue our trip. Maybe next time when we go by train? Thank you for making our stay this good!
