Craigatin House & Courtyard occupies a Victorian house at the northern end of Pitlochry's main street, converted into a guest house with a deliberately contemporary interior that sits in contrast to its period exterior. Bedrooms are set around a converted courtyard and garden behind the main house, giving a quieter feel than a typical high street location.
A generous breakfast is served each morning in a bright conservatory-style dining room overlooking the garden, using local and Scottish produce, and guests have use of a comfortable lounge with an open fire in cooler months.
Its position at the edge of the town centre gives easy walking access to Pitlochry's shops, restaurants and station, while the garden and courtyard setting keep the guest house feeling separate from the main street's passing traffic.

We stayed at Craigatin House for five nights the past week and we had an amazing stay! Our room (nr 16) was really spacious and had a lovely bed. My tall partner (190cm) did have a little trouble with the height of the ceiling, and we couldn't figure out the heating system (it turned itself on, even though it was off), but that didn't interrupt our lovely time. Two of our nights we had quite a heavy-footed neighbour in the rooms above that did keep us awake with their walking around until the late hours, but that's the reality of an old house. The included breakfast had good vegetarian options and the service was immaculate. Definitely recommend the whisky porridge, even though I don't usually like porridge! The staff was really kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect, we did day trips all around Scotland and it was a nice wee walk to the pub in the village. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Craigatin House was amazing. Nestled in a truly beautiful landscape, it’s the perfect escape for anyone looking to relax and unwind in stunning surroundings. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and cosy, making it easy to feel completely at home. Breakfast was fantastic — a lovely selection of high-quality options, all freshly prepared and delicious. It was the perfect way to start each day. A big thank you to Gary and the team. We can’t wait to return!

The Craigatin House Hotel exceeded our expectations. We received a very warm personal welcome from Derek and our room was ‘as seen’ on the web-site. The full Scottish breakfast was every bit as good as the reviews and all the staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly, including offers of discounts to local attractions. The complimentary whisky in the lounge was a lovely touch!

Great location! This lovely B&B is in walking distance of the shops of Pitlochry. We had a comfortable room with a King bed for two nights. The towels are big and fluffy! Breakfast was amazing both days. Service was friendly and attentive from the two lassies the first day and Will the second. Fantastic place! Gary and Derek take great care of you! Thank you so much!
