We stayed for a weekend at the end of May 2026. Were allocated room 3, which was absolutely fine. We had the dog with us too, as the B&B is dog friendly. We had everything you would expect from a B&B and I actually didn't mind not having someone on sight to check in with. I did call the owner twice, and my requests were met kindly, promptly and professionally. Location is awesome. I am coeliac so have to be careful where I eat, but there were at least 4 safe venues for me all within 10-30mins walk from the B&B. I particularly wanted to swim in the lido and would suggest anyone staying at this location makes use of it because its literally a 5min walk away. You can request parking permits (when you book the B&B) if you are bringing your car, which we did. This doesn't guarantee you a space anywhere near the B&B though, so just bear that in mind if you've alot of stuff to bring to/from the car (or risk loading/unloading on the DYLS and then move your car into an appropriate space).

Carla is a kind host with excellent communication before, during and after our stay. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and the guest house is in the perfect location to enjoy the sea views, cafes, pubs & restaurants along The Hoe. We'll definitely rebook here next time we're in Plymouth
