About The Grosvenor Plymouth

Behind its Victorian façade, The Grosvenor Plymouth pairs original period character with contemporary interiors across 40 en-suite rooms. Decor throughout is understated rather than showy, with family rooms available for those travelling with children, and drinks can be brought to the room for guests who prefer to settle in for the evening.

Breakfast is served on site, along with a restaurant and bar for meals and drinks without having to head out. Packed lunches and kids' meals are also available, and the hotel has meeting rooms and business services for those visiting Plymouth for work. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge throughout.

The hotel's city centre position puts it within reach of the Barbican and Plymouth's other attractions, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby. Golf, fishing, cycling, walking and watersports are all available in the surrounding area, giving guests plenty of options beyond the hotel itself.

We have just come away from a fabulous couple of nights stay at The Grosvenor. From the moment we arrived, until the moment we had to leave, the hotel staff were amazing. We managed to check in early, and we're allocated room 33. A lovely bay fronted room at the front of the hotel. The room was spotless, very generous in size and lovely high ceilings. The bathroom was spacious and recently renovated so was gorgeous. Lovely soft white towels too! Our bed was very comfy, spotless white bedding and perfect pillows. On the second night, we wanted to have a takeaway in the room, so we asked if that was possible and of course the owners immediately said yes!! They offered us crockery and cutlery which was a lovely thing!! We felt very well looked after and had the perfect relaxing break! Thank you! We most definitely will be back. Nick

The room was a bit basic but worth the money I paid for it. The weather was very hot at the time but a fan was provided in the room. Only negative is that the hotel currently does not provide breakfast, which I would have happily paid for. The location of hotel near the Hoe and easy walk to landing station. Walk to main shops about 30 minutes.

Stayed in a single room so obviously small but perfectly okay for my needs. Only downside was that the view out of the window was a wall about 8 feet away. Location was perfect, close to both the Hoe and the Barbican

We have just had the most phenomenal stay at The Grosvenor Hotel and would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff for being very friendly and making us feel most welcome. We tend to travel a fair bit throughout the year having a couple of nights away here and there so having a hotel that feels fresh and spacious just as The Grosvenor is is appreciated. More importantly Room 33 which we were allocated was spotless, comfortable and very pleasant. We only stayed for two nights however the bed was very comfortable and each night we slept well. The shower is powerful and there seems an endless supply of hot water. In addition to this we were offered a parking space to the rear of the hotel which was invaluable to our stay. Location wise, having the lighthouse and The Hoe at the top of the road was ideal. The Barbican is a mere 10 minute walk from the hotel which is where we spent our time enjoying countless bars and great places to eat. We found multiple staff members pleasant and helpful and we just wanted to say a massive thank you and to wish you all a very merry Christmas. Undoubtedly we would stay here again.
