About Premier Inn Portsmouth Port Solent

A restaurant and bar on site make Premier Inn Portsmouth Port Solent an easy base for breakfast before a day out or a relaxed dinner afterwards, with drinks available in the room too for those who'd rather stay in. There's also a pizza eatery nearby for anyone after something more casual.

The hotel has 108 rooms spread across five floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, and accessible rooms are available. Facilities are kept simple but practical, with a lift, 24 hour reception and on-site parking, though space for cars is limited and comes at a charge. The overall feel is of a no-frills, comfortable stay rather than anything showy.

Portsmouth's marina setting puts golf, fishing and horse riding within easy reach, along with a nearby pub and other entertainment options. Gunwharf Quays and Southsea are close by too, making this a practical spot for exploring the area without needing to travel far each day.

Pretty good for a premier inn. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Didn't hear nor see any of the room service folks which was a pleasant surprise compared to previous premier inn stays. Air conditioning was amazing as it was a warm weekend. Modern shower that was spacious and did the job well. Comfy beds and fully functional utilities. My only complaint was all the construction noise right under our window between 7-8am, not great first thing after a bit of a late night.

Here’s a more polished and balanced version of your review: I accidentally went to the Premier Inn Port Solent instead of the Premier Inn Portsmouth North Harbour. After waiting around 3–4 minutes, Caroline spoke to us through the reception speaker. I explained my name and the address I had, but she repeatedly told me, “You are not my guest.” I then asked if she knew where the correct hotel was, but she simply replied that she couldn’t tell me. I felt quite upset by the interaction. As I was leaving, I noticed that my actual Premier Inn was directly opposite. The staff there were welcoming and very helpful, which made a huge difference to my experience. It’s surprising that two hotels from the same company can provide such different levels of customer service. The attitude and willingness of employees to help really make all the difference.

Firstly, gonna be giving a massive thanks in service to Adrian who gave us a quality meal service with you lots tap J2O. You guys are lucky to have him. Service was quick and easy with checking in and out. The food was superb - had fish and chips with mushy peas and my +1 had a pizza. Freshly cooked and good portions. Big thanks to your kitchen staff on Friday 6th! Rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. These 2 are only small nit picks but the TV wasn't all that impressive audibly along with its selections and there were no disposable toothbrushes or paste. But it's Premier Inn, it's a great price for what you pay for. Would happily stay the night again to this establishment if I ever come down to Portsmouth in the future.

It would be 5 stars if you didn't have to pay for parking but it is a reasonable price. Very nice modern hotel with a small restaurant that is inside the hotel not attached to it like a lot of the older ones have. Reasonably priced food too although the drinks are expensive. Was quite painless to stay here although we did get noisy people with kids in the room next to ours. We were in bed before the children in the next room were so they were quite disruptive to our getting to sleep. Walls are obviously quite thin.
