Everything is on the ground floor, accessed by five steps to the entrance. The open-plan living space centres on a wood burner, with a 43-inch TV, DVD player and Freesat. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. One bedroom contains a kingsize bed and a 32-inch TV; the ensuite has a cubicle shower. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and electricity are included, along with the initial fuel for the wood burner.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio, furniture and barbecue, plus a private hot tub where you can soak while looking at the mountains. A bike store is on site and there is parking for three cars. The property suits couples and small families, particularly those with dogs—the garden is fenced and there are walking routes direct from the door. The local pub is 2.2 miles away; Builth Wells, about 5 miles distant, hosts events at the Royal Welsh Showground throughout the year. Llandrindod Wells, 10 miles away, has parks and lakes. A Finnish sauna can be arranged with the owner. Smoking is not permitted.
