The Beehive C29 is a single-storey cabin sleeping four at Garth Holiday Park near Machynlleth. You enter into a combined living, kitchen and dining space with patio doors opening onto a decked area with garden furniture. The first bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite with toilet; the second has two singles. A separate shower room serves the rest of the property. The cabin sits within a family-run park on the grounds of a forest; the Afon Dulas river and Dyfi Valley are nearby, and the enclosed garden gives privacy from neighbouring plots.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine, so you can prepare full meals and do laundry. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with wi-fi and heating. One car parks on site free of charge. Pets stay at no extra cost, and travel cots and highchairs are available by request. The property is non-smoking throughout.
Machynlleth is a working market town with Wednesday markets, antique shops and galleries within walking distance, plus restaurants and cafés. The Mach Loop, a known site for aircraft spotting, is in the valley. For outdoor activity there are nature reserves, mountain bike trails and walking routes across the surrounding hills.

Stayed at the squirrels drey. Lovely little cabin and hot tub was fab! Had everything we needed for our trip. Bring an eye mask as it gets light in the mornings. Unfortunately the confirmation email gave us an incorrect postcode which took us 20 minutes away from where the cabin actually is, so just be careful with this. Has some amenities which aren’t listed so would have saved us bringing some of these (I.e hairdryer) if we had known

Just got back from a week away, staying here. We stayed in one of the cabins, which it's just the other side of the river from the main park. The area is beautiful. With lovely walks to be had surrounded by lush Welsh countryside and mountains. Just a short drive from the main town too, where there are restaurants, shops and a well stocked co op and spar shop for anything you may need. The accommodation itself, we had cabin 29, was very clean and spacious and warm. The rooms were lovely and was handy to have a small en suite in the main bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you can need, however my only criticism was firstly the lack of loo roll, I know if we had asked we no doubt would have been given some, but would have been nice to have a stick within the cabin and secondly the oven and hon had no markings on them, so you had no idea, what you had turned on the hob and no idea on how hot the oven or grill were. We managed to not burn anything or ourselves but would have been nice to have an idea on them. Other than that there were little extras, like the bowls set for us to use. We would definitely book again. Notes to be aware of. The mobile signal was poor to non existent. I am on EE. The cabin had WiFi and WiFi calling worked so ensure you have that switched on. Also when the RAF or USAF are in the Mach Loop playing, they do bank overhead, which is an amazing sight to see but if your not expecting them, they do show up with little warning and are loud.

After looking at many sites around our chosen area, we immediately fell in love with Garth Holiday Park and knew it was where we wanted to be. The setting is just perfect, a real hideaway that you wouldn't know is there unless you are looking for it. We have found everything we were looking for...a friendly, helpful owner, tranquil and natural surroundings with a river and fantastic views, all within walking distance of the historic town. What more could you want? We're so glad we made the decision to buy on here and look forward to having many years holidaying and relaxing.
