Totally awesome 'off grid' experience. This gorgeous, not so, little CL nestled in between hills and a babbling river offers an excellent place to relax. The mobile signal is virtually nonexistent and there is no WiFi, so you have to sit back and enjoy what is going on around you. From the water voles hopping around in front of your pitch, the red kites hovering and soaring above (at one pont we saw 12 of them!) to the gentle 'baaing' of the sheep in the neighbouring field. We were lucky to have a mixture of rainy and sunny days on our long weekend stay but the field is well drained and there were no issues with getting off the pitch. Be aware though that the entrance is 'tight' and for the exit you really need a 'banksman' to stop the cars coming down the hill as the visibility is not brilliant and you're going up a hill to get out. But the owner did offer his services if we needed them, so don't be put off by that! This place has just gone in to our 'must visit again' site list as we both feel so chilled having been there for a long weekend.
