Powys countryside draws walkers and birdwatchers year-round, and Pentre Cwm Bach sits at the quiet end of a country track, overlooking fields and hill slopes. The detached cottage is yours alone, with parking for two cars and a lawned garden with seating. A pub lies within a mile. One dog is welcome here, though sheep graze nearby so yours will need to stay on a lead.
The layout is straightforward: ground floor living room with a smart TV, and a kitchen/dining room with electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Upstairs, one bedroom contains a kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom with bath and toilet. Oil heating keeps the property warm, and initial logs are provided for the wood burner. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The natural water supply means you're genuinely off-grid in feel, though still comfortable.
From here you can walk into Mid Wales hills, drive to Llangollen for white-water activities and the steam railway, or reach Chester in under an hour. Powys Castle and Llanrhaedr waterfall are nearby. Smoking is not permitted.
