Shepherds Retreat – Brown Hare is a standalone hut on a working farm in the Brecon Beacons, sleeping two in a double bed. Everything you need for a self-catering stay comes as standard: electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The single open-plan room centres on a woodburner for warmth and atmosphere, with a dining area and seating space to settle into after exploring the surrounding landscape.
A gas cooker and fridge-freezer in a shared kitchen let you prepare meals, and there is a shared shower room with a cubicle and toilet. The hut sits on its own plot with garden furniture and a patio area for morning coffee or evening air. Private parking for one car is on site. One dog can stay free. The farm is near Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in South Wales, where you can walk the shoreline or try paddleboarding or kayaking. The Brecon Beacons offer hiking and cycling trails, including routes to Pen y Fan; the Black Mountains rise nearby. Brecon itself, a market town with shops and restaurants, is a short drive away. Smoking is not permitted in the hut.

What a hidden gem of a glamping spot! Such a cute shepherds hut, well equipped with outdoor kitchen and fire pit, so secluded, located within amazing nature, fields, woods, streams... Only sheep around, and the lovely host only checked in if all good and we had a nice chat, then enjoyed ourselves in total privacy. Thank you!
