Lakeside Caravan Park

Wonderful! Before even arriving, booking was simple, communication emails clear, which meant turning up and finding where to go was a breeze. The location backdrop is stunning, and the green common with ponies by the lake was wonderful to walk with the dog. The amenities included lovely clean hot running shower rooms, and immaculate toilets both on the camp site and on the common. Plenty of space per camp pitch and all the amenities close by. There is also a pub and shop on the common that are well stocked and utilised. From the camp site you walk across the common and around the lake. Or you can easily drive from the site to many of the Brecon Beacon sites. I highly recommend this for camping.

We didn't stay here so can't review the accommodation. We wanted to hire a rowing boat for a couple of hours, and the service we received was fantastic. We had an initial query and sent them a message via their website the day before and they responded within minutes. We booked our boat online, and the information we were sent was comprehensive, and the staff onsite couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The location is gorgeous, with views of the wonderful mountains and countryside. We had a great day and will return there without a shadow of a doubt.

We stayed at Llangorse Lake Caravan Park last weekend as a group of 24 cyclists from VC Colets, and once again it was absolutely exceptional! There’s a reason our club returns year after year—this was our 11th visit, and we’re already looking forward to making it 12 years next year! The site is always spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and set in the most stunning surroundings. The caravans are finished to a really high standard, making them comfortable and welcoming after a day on the bikes. The on-site café and bar are fantastic, with great food, drinks and a lovely atmosphere, and the facilities are excellent throughout. A huge thank you to everyone at Llangorse Lake for another wonderful stay. We already can’t wait to return next year. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing break, whether you’re visiting with family, friends or as part of a group. Five stars from all of us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed on the orchard area of camping with our van which is close to everything you need, Been here several times on the far pitch at the bottom of the site which is nice but a bit of a walk to the lake/Cafe if you have mobility issues, so nice to be close to everything this time. Beautiful site peaceful area and close to the lovely cafe and pub. Staff were very helpful on arrival and had everything we needed in the orchard area. The views are incredible especially across the lake. Breakfast in the cafe was outstanding as was the coffee. The pub was ok for food however could have a bit more on the menu as not much choice. We will definitely return to the same area again up the top end as was easier for us with out 2 dogs which also loved the site surroundings. Very relaxing stay and will return very soon..
