Apartment 11
Preston
Apartment 11 occupies the upper two floors of a former carriage works in central Preston. The building's industrial past has been preserved in its conversion to modern flats, with this unit taking full advantage of the space: a second-floor layout contains two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the third floor is an open-plan living area that steps out onto a balcony. The configuration sleeps six, with a zip-and-link kingsize in the main bedroom (or two singles on request), a double in the second bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room.
Both bedrooms have their own facilities—an en-suite shower in the main room and a full bathroom with bath and shower on the bedroom floor. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, and there's a washing machine on-site. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The balcony is furnished and overlooks the city centre. A public car park is available 350 yards away. No smoking is permitted.
Preston's regenerated waterfront has restaurants, pubs and a marina within walking distance. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are roughly an hour away by car or train, and the Lancashire coast—Lytham St Annes, Formby—is similarly accessible for a day out.
