The Lodge at Egmont Farm is a single open-plan space on the ground floor where living, dining and kitchen occupy one room, with a bedroom and shower room off to the side. You get a double bed, a wood-burning stove, electric heating, a kitchenette with cooker and microwave, and a television. The essentials—bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity—are covered, along with initial logs for the stove. A welcome pack arrives with you.
Outside, there's an enclosed patio with seating and a barbecue, plus access to a shared lawn. A private hot tub is available for an additional fee, subject to prior arrangement. You have your own parking space. The property sits within 5 acres of farmland; the resident chickens mean guests can collect fresh eggs during their stay. No smoking is permitted inside.
Rye town centre is within reach for its cobbled streets, restaurants and galleries. The Kent and East Sussex Railway runs steam trains from nearby Northiam Station through the countryside towards Bodiam Castle. Walkers and cyclists find good routes through the Rother Valley, and the River Rother itself offers rowing opportunities. The location suits couples or solo travellers wanting a genuine rural setting without the noise of a busier resort.

Highly recommended place to stay. This was my second booking and will be returning soon. It’s so tranquil and relaxing and the hot tub is an added bonus. Pod was very clean and homely. Nice to get eggs from their chickens too!! I Had a birthday weekend there and made the best memories. Highly recommend the white heart pub down the road. The food was amazing. Best pub food I’ve had in a pub. Highly recommended place to stay.

Great stay at Egmont Farm Holiday Cottages. We stayed in a 3-bed cottage with a hot tub – really homely and well set up. The hot tub was a great bonus. Perfect location for exploring Rye, Rye Harbour, Bodiam Castle and Camber Sands. Would definitely stay again.

Me and my partner went to Egmont farm holiday cottages for our anniversary, we have visited before, I would highly recommend both the lodge and the pod, Sarah is a wonderful host and her communication is amazing, I would most definitely recommend staying there, aswell as amazing hosts the facilities are amazing and also the hot tubs are well maintained, would highly recommend adding the hot tubs to your stay.
