Benenden sits in the heart of the Kent countryside, and Freshwater Barn is on the village outskirts where you can walk to a pub, shop, post office and café. The converted barn has been recently updated with a fitted kitchen featuring a range cooker, butler sink and wood worktops. Ground floor contains an open-plan living space with a sofa bed that doubles as a second sleeping spot, a dining area, and the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room.
The property sleeps four and comes with wi-fi throughout. You have a garden with sitting-out area and furniture, plus private parking on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. This is a whole property to yourselves, with no other guests sharing the space. The location works well for exploring the surrounding area, and the village amenities mean you don't need to venture far for meals or supplies if you prefer not to. No smoking is permitted inside.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect setting. Lovely for children with Chickens, baby Rabbits to see. Great for the dogs with nearby fields to have a run. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming.

My husband and I stayed here with our son and our very energetic dog a few weeks ago. Fabulous hosts who looked after us very well. We enjoyed beautiful walks over the Weald right from the front gate, which our dog just loved. The cottage was charming and as neat as a pin! Thoroughly relaxing break, would highly recommend.
