Sheherezade Fruit Farm

We’ve stayed here twice now (once last night and once at the end of Sept last year) and it is one of our favourite places to camp. Beautiful surroundings with lots of nature, we saw pigs, sheep, frogs, swans & lots of geese/ducks! The pitches by the lake are especially beautiful, but if you do camp at the top for use of electric hook ups, there can be a beautiful view of the sunrise over the misty field in the mornings. Great facilities, clean & well equipped! Fresh food grown on the farm is sometimes for sale if still available, including eggs, marrows & homemade jam. Extra portaloos down by the lake too to save you the walk up to the top. There’s a pub & a village shop selling local produce only a 15 mins walk away which is perfect too. Carol is a wonderful host & we will definitely be back for a third visit! Thanks for having us ❤️

We stayed at this campsite last weekend and it was an amazing experience. Carol was friendly, informative and really helpful. She takes great care of her farm. There are chickens, pigs and sheep on the farm and are all friendly and clearly well looked-after. You are able to buy freshly-made jam and a generous amount of fire-logs are only a fiver! Our pitch was by the lake, with superb view of the moorhens and the ducks. There is a fully equipped kitchen and showers/toilets by the entrance of the farm, making our experience much more pleasant. By the pitches, there are also portaloos which were extremely clean. Very pleasant experience, will definitely be visiting again!!

Quiet place in the middle of all kinds of animals. Poo of the sheep was a disadvantage. Carol should keep the sheep in a seperate field to avoid that. This also includes the geeze! They were agressive. Good facilities. Too expensive.

Stayed here with my partner Sunday to Tuesday 31st July-2nd of August, we wanted to leave a higher review on pitch up but it only allowed 70 characters, so hope you see this Carol! Honestly we had the best time it's such a beautiful site and Carol the owner puts in so much work to accommodate you, it's inspiring to see actually. The wildlife lake, the access to showers and fire pits and eggs plus loads more is an absolute bonus. Her beautiful and friendly dog Rupert was the cherry on top too, we loved him. I really would recommend this campsite to anyone we will be coming back! That's for certain
