Cedar Lodge
Wealden
Cedar Lodge is a converted detached building set in rural Sussex, on the owner's grounds with views across open countryside. Everything sits on one level: a spacious open-plan living area with a 50-inch Smart TV and wood-effect electric fire, a kitchen with full cooking facilities and breakfast bar, a bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom, and a utility room with washing machine. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wi-fi are all included.
Outside, covered decking and a patio face the fields, furnished with garden chairs and a barbecue. A shared large field belongs to the property, and there's private parking for one car. The immediate area suits walkers and cyclists: the Cuckoo Trail runs 19 miles through the High Weald from Heathfield towards Eastbourne, and footpaths start from the doorstep. A 17th-century country pub stands within a mile. The property is no-smoking, and is not suitable for children under 2 years old.
