Lovely campsite. The owner Christine keeps Llyn Rhys as a quiet campsite for people who want to use it as a base for exploring the area and as such the rules are fairly strict, if this isn't your bag and you want a more 'party' site you are better going elsewhere. That said we were a group of guys who enjoy a drink and a barby after a day of walking, biking or kayaking and we found the rules fair and reasonable which allowed us to enjoy ourselves without disturbing the other guests. The campsite itself is spacious and all the facilities are very well maintained; the views are also gorgeous. Highly recommended.

A great campsite - lovely friendly hosts, shared facilities are spotless, and fields are reasonably flat. Lots of good walks nearby and a very short drive to Llandegla forest. A community shop and cafe a few minutes walk away.

We cannot praise this campsite enough. We spent a long weekend here and loved every minute. Lovely and quiet, and certainly the cleanest site we have ever stayed. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the attention to detail was apparent with everything, from the fresh flowers in the toilets, to the kindling starter kits. Everything we could of asked for and more. We will definitely return and look forward to when we do.

Had an overnight stay in a tent pitch. Unbelievable views on all sides. With the crown pub and a couple of small shops close by it's a great location especially if your a cyclist as one planet bike park is close by
