About Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays
Rooms at the Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays come with en-suite bathrooms and the straightforward comforts expected of a quayside hotel, though some are on the dated side and there's no air conditioning, so those sensitive to warmer nights might want to bear that in mind. Accessible rooms are available, and a lift serves all floors, making arrival with luggage or mobility needs a simple affair.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for meals and drinks without having to leave the building, plus 24 hour reception for late check-ins or early starts. The hotel sits on Clippers Quay in Salford, within easy reach of Salford Quays and MediaCityUK, and transport links into Manchester are convenient, making it a practical base whether you're here for work or a weekend away.
Outside the hotel there's a pub or bar nearby for an evening out, a golf course for those wanting to fit in a round, and entertainment options close by. Staff are consistently helpful, and the location and value for money are the property's strongest selling points.

What guests say
Very outdated rooms for the £100 average cost per night, the bathroom needs a refurbishment and I would say that this is a 3* hotel rather than the 4 it is listed as. The staff were very nice and service good, I would recommend the breakfast. Location is great for the venues nearby however next time I’d probably pay a little bit more and opt for the modern rooms of hotel football or downgrade to a travelodge which would have air con.

I've stayed here a few times and think it's great. Staff are so helpful, Sam has been a real help tonight with some local information needed during my stay, thank you!! Rooms and food excellent, location is ideal and parking if free for guests. Big ticks all round.

Location is good if you need access to the quays area. The self service breakfast was Very good. The room was a little tired but adequate for a 1 night stopover. The bathroom was very tired. Several tiles around the bath were missing grout, and several spots of mould evident around the shower area of the bath. Beware the hot water is absolutely boiling. Lastly the shower unit is extremely old, last issued in 1993 so needless to say it is cantankerous. Sometimes you cannot turn it off, and is very frustrating to use..

First stay at this hotel, had 2 rooms both very nice. I was glad they had a bath as many hotels have gotten rid of them. Wifi was a bit slow but not a major issue. I think the yellow lighting in the rooms could be upgraded and some sockets near the bed would be a good idea. But we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
